(Yicai Global) Sept. 13 -- ByteDance Inc., the parent company of China's most popular free news app Toutiao, is officially expanding its integrated music video platform and social media network Tik Tok into markets across Asia.

Tik Tok recently partnered with China's largest video website iQIYI to curate the market's very first and most viewed hip-hop talent show in 2017. The pair created an incubator system for talent as a fast channel for auditions.
Tik Tok makes it quick and easy for users to make unique short videos and share them with friends, the company says. The app is fast becoming a new cultural benchmark for the industry.

It provides talented generations of youth across the region with a platform for creation and sharing of music videos. It is becoming easier and more fun with Tik Tok's, said Viv Gong, head of marketing at the company.
