(Yicai Global) Nov. 20 -- Service robot startup Yunji Technology has secured tens of millions of dollars in A-round financing led by the investment arm of Chinese internet giant Tencent Holdings Ltd. [HKG:0700], Haihang Lvye Chuangxin Investment, iFLYTEK and Lanting Capital.

The round marks Tencent's latest investment in the robotics sector following previous deals made with Leju (Shenzhen) Robotics Co., Ganker Robot. Co. and Ubtech Robotics Corp.

Yunji Technology focuses on commercial service robot intelligent products and application researched and developed by its team for the lodging, logistics and transportation, administrative services sectors.
