(Yicai Global) July 20 -- Shanghai Hengrun Digital Technology Co., a subsidiary of Lingnan Landscape Co. [SHE:002717], will take part in the construction of comic book giant Marvel Entertainment LLC's [NYSE:MVL] theme park in Busan, South Korea through a deal worth USD1.7 million. Marvel is owned by The Walt Disney Co. [NYSE:DIS].

Shanghai Hengrun has also become a strategic partner and preferred supplier for Marvel's development and construction projects in Asia.

Shanghai Hengrun has entered into a strategic cooperation agreement with Nex Pacific Inc., owned by South Korean culture and entertainment conglomerate Hans, parent company Lingnan Landscape said yesterday.

Shanghai Hengrun will provide design services, supply and install equipment, and offer post-installation maintenance services for the Marvel theme park.

The theme park will feature Marvel superhero intellectual property images such as Spider-Man and Iron Man, the announcement added.
