(Yicai Global) Jan. 15 -- The government of Shijiazhuang, the capital of China’s Hebei province, has begun building a centralized quarantine site following a recent outbreak of the coronavirus. Some 3,000 prefabricated housing units are expected to arrive there within three days.
The site covers an area of about 33.3 hectares and is located 2 kilometers to the west of the city’s newly built Hebei Olympic Sports Center. A drone snapped aerial shots yesterday.
Before work began, the site was empty except for a solitary two-story house.
Cement trucks pour the concrete that will form the foundations of the housing units.
Diggers prepare the land.
Prefab units start arriving on site.
