(Yicai Global) Oct. 25 -- Foreign investors added USD71.3 billion to their Chinese bond holdings during the first nine months, the State Administration of Foreign Exchange's spokeswoman Wang Chunying said at a press conference today.

Some USD29.7 billion came in the third quarter, considering SAFE said in July that they added USD41.6 billion during the first half.

Foreign investors also added USD18.5 billion to their Chinese mainland stock holdings, she added. The mid-year figure was USD7.8 billion, meaning USD10.7 billion came in the third quarter.
