(Yicai Global) April 15 -- Midea Group, one of China's major home appliance makers, will withhold 30 percent of its mid- to upper-level management's salaries, starting from March till December, due to the uncertainties caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Foshan-headquartered company may return some of the money by the end of the year, based on its business performance, Beijing Daily reported, citing an internal letter.
