(Yicai Global) March 23 -- The price of isopropanol, an ingredient for disinfectants, has increased in China amid a rising number of overseas orders during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The price has risen by more than 20 percent to CNY7,900 (USD1,110) per ton on March 20 from the beginning of the month, Shanghai Securities News reported. Upstream acetone prices have also surged amid an increasing number of Chinese factories at work.
