China's CPI Dipped 0.9% Last Month on Falling Food Prices
(Yicai Global) May 12 -- China's consumer prices shrank 0.9 percent last month from March as food prices declined, the country's National Bureau of Statistics announced today.
The consumer price index rose 3.3 percent from April last year, the bureau said.
The CPI grew 4.5 percent on the year from January to April.
