(Yicai Global) Sept. 30 -- Anhui Annada Titanium Industry Co. [SZE:002136], based in Tongling city, will reduce its titanium dioxide production by 30 percent before the end of the year as part of municipal governmental efforts to improve the city's air quality, the company said in a press briefing.

The firm boasts an annual production capacity of titanium dioxide of 120,000 tons, the largest of any company in China's eastern Anhui province.

Tongling's local government recently confirmed plans to implement limits or suspensions on production for enterprises contributing to emissions among the city's 32 key industries, starting from Oct 1.
