The World Bank Group yesterday projected that growth in East Asia and Pacific will slow to 4 percent this year, compared to 5 percent last year, as growing global uncertainties are impacting business and consumer confidence, according to its 2025 Regional Economic Update. Despite slower growth, poverty rates in the region will "continue to decline," the World Bank noted.
