(Yicai Global) Dec. 21 -- Zhulilaiye, a startup that uses artificial intelligence in customer management, has raised USD10 million in its second round of financing and will put the proceeds into developing technologies, recruiting talent and promoting a new product for corporate clients, online media outlet 36kr reported.

Wu Capital led the round with support from Lightspeed China Partners and Sequoia Capital China.

The group secured tens of millions of yuan in its first funding round last year, which Microsoft Corp. [NASDAQ:MSFT] led and Lightspeed China Partners and Sequoia Capital participated in.

The new service for corporate clients will use AI to improve efficiency and market products more effectively by compiling data and managing customer groups.

Zhulilaiye's partners include China Mobile Ltd. [HK:0941], Wyeth, Ctrip.com International Ltd. [NASDAQ:CTRP], Koolearn.com Inc. and the credit card unit of Shanghai Pudong Development Bank Co. [SHA:600000]. Zhulilaiye hopes to build a reputation by serving big clients and aims to develop standardized products to serve more businesses and individuals by learning from projects it implements.
