(Yicai Global) Sept. 7 -- Hangzhou Zhongheng Electric Co. (Zhongheng Electric) [SHE:002364] was confirmed as the bid-winner for the HVDC System Project of Zhangbei Cloud Computing Center recently with a bid-winning price of over USD7.5 million (CNY50 million), it said yesterday.

The winning bid affirms the technical advantages of HVDC products, and will further cement the company's lead within the industry, while generating a positive influence on its future operating performance, the firm said.

Relying on efficient, energy-saving, safe and reliable personalized customization, its coverage and use rate in the cloud computing field is gradually expanding, the company stated.

Alibaba Group Holding Ltd. [NYSE:BABA] built the Zhangbei Cloud Computing Center in Zhangbei county, Hebei province with total investment of CNY18 billion, public data shows.
