(Yicai Global) July 21 -- The gross domestic product of China’s southeastern economic powerhouse of Zhejiang province rose 0.5 percent to CNY2.91 trillion (USD420 billion) in the first half from the same time last year, as against a 5.6 percent decline in the first quarter, the provincial statistics office announced today.
Zhejiang's industrial value added of manufacturers with over CNY20 million (USD2.86 million) in annual operating income rose 0.3 percent from a year earlier in the half after dropping 10.2 percent in the first quarter.
Fixed-asset investment grew 3.2 percent per year after also falling 5.8 percent in the first quarter.
