(Yicai Global) Feb. 24 -- Shanghai reported no new cases of the novel coronavirus pneumonia yesterday, with the total standing at 335, the city's health commission announced this morning.

Among the total, three have died, 13 remain in a critical state, 249 are fully recovered and have been discharged from hospital, and 70 are in stable condition.

The patients are aged between seven months and 88 years of age and include 173 men and 162 women.

Some 144 have lived in or visited Hubei province, the epicenter of the coronavirus outbreak, 158 have had close contact with other patients, and 33 have lived in or visited other provinces or regions, the commission said.

As of yesterday, 2,162 suspected cases have been cleared and 90 suspected cases are still undergoing further tests.
