(Yicai Global) June 8 -- Chinese chemical company Chongqing Zaisheng Technology's superfine glass fiber cotton, one of its main products, recently obtained an authentication certificate from the European Certification Board for Mineral Wool Products (EUCEB), it announced yesterday.

The certificate shows that after testing and verification, an independent certification body designated by the EUCEB found the product meets relevant rules of the European Parliament and the European Commission, and so issued the certificate. Zaisheng Technology is the only enterprise in the superfine glass fiber cotton industry that has gained certification as a noncarcinogenic substance. Zaisheng Technology will actively popularize relevant products in the European market, it said.

Superfine glass fiber cotton products mainly find use in air filtration, energy-saving and heat conservation, such as in air conditioners, refrigerators, freezers and other temperature-controlled appliances.

Zaisheng Technology, which formed in 2007, researches and develops materials for air purification and energy conservation, and has products in a myriad of materials, including synthetic fiber, natural fiber, mineral fiber, carbon fiber and fibrous composite.
