(Yicai) Sept. 20 -- Wuxi Autowell Technology, a Chinese manufacturer of automatic photovoltaic cell stringer machines, said its unit has received a CNY400 million (USD56.8 million) order from an internationally known company.
Wuxi Autowell Supply Chain Management has agreed to supply single crystal furnaces and supporting auxiliary equipment worth around CNY400 million to the client, Autowell Technology announced yesterday. Deliveries will start next year, it added.
The order is expected to positively impact Autowell Technology's operating performance next year, it said, without disclosing the client's name and other details.
Established in 2010, Autowell Technology has more than 4,000 employees and is a well-known smart equipment maker in the PV, lithium-ion batteries, and semiconductors sectors.
Shares of Wuxi Autowell [SHA: 688516] dropped 2.4 percent to CNY33.42 (USD4.74) each as of 2.10 p.m. in Shanghai today, after earlier falling by as much as 3.4 percent.
