(Yicai Global) May 17 -- The Doctor of Business Administration in blockchain technology management program jointly offered by the Paris School of Business (PSB) and the Suzhou Tongji Blockchain Research Institute (STBRI) has released admission information and a program syllabus on its official website (dba.tj-fintech.com). It is the world's first DBA program in the blockchain field.

Students attending the program, which lasts three to five years, can study in Paris, Shanghai and Suzhou in China's eastern Jiangsu province, online media Chinanews reported today. The program will focus on crossover topics on blockchain theories and business. Students will be awarded a PhD in business administration from PSB upon completing a thesis.

Founded in 1881, PSB is a renowned higher French educational institution that focuses on teaching and academic research in management science. It has 106 full-time professors and 4,400 students. It is also an overseas business school recognized by China's Ministry of Education.

STBRI was jointly set up by Tongji University, a prestigious university in Shanghai, and the Suzhou city government. It offers integrated service platforms for the research, development, application and review of blockchain technology, as well as talent cultivation and industry incubation.

The DBA program seeks to cultivate elite innovation management talent for China's blockchain industry by adopting the critical thinking tradition and advanced technological management theories of social sciences research in Europe, considering the characteristics of the domestic blockchain industry, and encouraging the research of new blockchain technology management methods, said Ma Xiaofeng, president of STBRI.
