(Yicai Global) May 15 -- Contemporary Amperex Technology, China's largest electric vehicle battery maker, will provide power units for Volvo Car Group's vehicles as well as those that Polestar, the Gothenburg-based carmaker's joint venture with China's Geely Automobile Holdings, produce. 

CATL and Volvo penned a battery contract worth millions of US dollars, the Fujian province-based firm said in a statement today.
