(Yicai Global) Aug. 23 -- Vivo Communication Technology has released its first fifth-generation phone iQOO Pro 5G, marking the fourth 5G phone available in China, but with the lowest price tag.

iQOO Pro 5G, priced as low as CNY3,798 (USD536), can now be reserved on e-commerce platforms and deliveries start on Sept. 2, the Dongguan-based firm said in a press release yesterday. The phone features the advanced technologies of Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus chip, Low Power DDR4X DRAM, and UFS 3.0 flash memory.

Huawei Technologies, ZTE and South Korea's Samsung Electronics have all released their 5G handsets, and the announced prices go between CNY4,999 and CNY7,999.

Vivo's 4G version of iQOO Pro is priced slightly lower at a minimum of CNY3,198.
