(Yicai Global) Jan. 20 -- US plant-based meat substitutes producer Beyond Meat plans to enter the Chinese market this season and may first launch its products online, according to The Beijing News.

Los Angeles-based Beyond Meat has joined China Plant Based Foods Alliance, and its products are undergoing approval procedures for imported food, Xue Yan, the trade group's secretary general, said yesterday.
