(Yicai Global) Jan. 31 -- Arkansas-based Alliance Rubber Co. filed a claim with the US Department of Commerce and US International Trade Commission yesterday for an anti-dumping and anti-subsidy investigation of rubber bands imported from Thailand, China and Sri Lanka, per the official website of China's commerce ministry.
China exported almost USD5 million worth of the products at issue to the country in 2016, US government statistics show.
The US Department of Commerce will announce whether it will file a case on Feb. 19.
