(Yicai) Sept. 16 – Bebinca, the 13th typhoon of this year, made landfall in Shanghai at about 7:30 a.m. today, according to the Shanghai central meteorological observatory.

Typhoon "Bebinca," the 13th of this year, is the strongest typhoon to hit Shanghai since 1949. The picture shows a man walking on the Bund in Shanghai as Typhoon "Bebinca" passed through.

To ensure passenger safety, 127 intercity bus services from Shanghai to Zhejiang and Jiangsu have been suspended, and the suspension may be expanded to a complete halt depending on the meteorological situation.
