(Yicai Global) July 5 -- The Chinese unit of Toyota Motor will sell battery components for Shanghai's Reinventing Fire Technology who will pass them onto FAW Group's and King Long United Automotive Industry's hydrogen buses.

Toyota has penned agreements with the three partners, the Tokyo-headquartered firm's China arm said in a statement today, without disclosing the size of investments.

Suzhou's King Long and Reinventing Fire have teamed to make 20 hydrogen buses to deliver them to the city of Changshu in Jiangsu province in the second half of this year, public information shows. FAW's unit, FAW Bus and Coach, makes new energy buses in northern China's Dalian.

In April, Toyota entered deals with China's Beiqi Foton Motor and Yihuatong Technology to provide battery parts for Beiqi Foton's hydrogen buses.
