(Yicai Global) Jan. 30 -- Tibet Autonomous Region has become the last of China's provincial-level regions to confirm a case of the deadly novel coronavirus-caused pneumonia that is making its way across China and the rest of the world.

The patient is in stable condition and undergoing treatment at a designated hospital, an official at the local health commission said. People who have been in close contact with the suffered are isolated and under medical observation.

The case was also the first suspected case in Tibet, reported yesterday.

Chinese health authorities have confirmed 7,711 cases of pneumonia caused by the novel coronavirus as of the end of yesterday, with 170 deaths and 124 complete recoveries, meaning the patient has been discharged from hospital.
