(Yicai Global) Nov. 21 -- Tencent Holdings Ltd.'s [HK:0700] share price had risen more than 4 percent by 9:53 am today, and its market value reached USD528.47 billion (HKD4.128 trillion), surpassing Facebook Inc.'s [NASDAQ:FB] USD518.35 billion to become the world's fifth-largest company by market cap.

Tencent's latest mobile survival shooter game Glorious Mission had its beta test today, which means that online game giants Tencent and NetEase Inc. [NASDAQ:NTES] are set to compete in the battle game market.

NetEase released three large battle games this month -- Survival in Rusted World, Terminator 2: Judgment Day and Rules of Survival for overseas market. The games are popular, and the company put them on the App Store. Two of its mobile survival shooter games rank among the top three most popular games, ahead of Tencent's King of Glory.

NetEase's stock price fell 6.38 percent in trading yesterday, closing at USD344.07 per share. The company's stock had rallied from USD300 to USD375 in previous days.
