Tencent's supercomputing cloud finds wide use in such areas as auto-making, genetics and AI, and boasts promising application prospects in industrial settings like petroleum exploration, earth science, physical chemistry and image rendering.

Tencent has formed partnerships with such hardware suppliers as Intel Corp. [NASDAQ:INTC], NVIDIA Corp. [NASDAQ:NVDA] and Mellanox Technologies Ltd. [NASDAQ:MLNX] to ensure user access to rapidly upgrading HPC hardware.
