(Yicai Global) Sept. 12 -- Swiss industrial giant ABB Group broke ground on its new robot plant and research base in Shanghai today.
The Zurich-based firm expects to open the facility in 2021 with total investment costing USD150 million, The Paper reported.
The factory covers 67,000 square meters and will use robots to build robots, while the research and development hub is intended to aid innovate in the field of artificial intelligence.
