(Yicai Global) Feb. 11 -- China's domestic tourism revenue gained 514 billion yuan (USD76.2 billion) during the week-long Lunar New Year holiday that ended yesterday, in an annual rise of 8.2 percent.
A total of 415 million trips were made across the country during the vacation, up by 7.6 percent per year, according to the country's Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
Traditional culture proved among trippers' favorites, with about 40 percent visiting museums, a ministry survey shows.
Last year's Spring Festival holiday recorded 386 million trips domestically in the country's annual 'chunyun' -- the world's largest human migration -- and raked in an additional CNY475 billion on the year before.
