(Yicai Global) Jan. 30 -- FXGear. Inc., a virtual and augmented reality manufacturer, will join hands with China's e-commerce heavyweight JD.Com. Inc. to release a mobile shopping app, providing virtual clothes fitting service, the South Korean firm said.
The app will integrate the company's "Fit'N Shop" virtual fitting solution, which will allow JD.Com's mobile terminal users to enter height, weight, chest, waist and hip data, self-shot face and selected hair styles to get a customized virtual avatar, conduct quick clothes fitting without leaving home, and browse various styles and trial effects in different matches, the South Korean Yonhap News Agency reported.
FXGear will use this cooperation as a springboard to provide more lifelike and quick interactive shopping experience for consumers worldwide, said its chairman.
