(Yicai Global) July 6 -- Fujian Snowman will pair up with Zhangjiagang Furui Hydrogen Power Equipment, a leading Chinese hydrogen equipment manufacturer, to jointly develop hydrogen fuel cells and new-energy vehicle products.

The pair has recently clinched a partnership framework agreement, the Fujian-based refrigeration equipment and system developer said in a statement yesterday.

Furui will provide Snowman with necessary technical support for fuel cell vehicle design and development, per the statement, and Snowman will supply integrated cryogenic refrigeration units and related technical testing services for Furui's hydrogen storage tanks and refueling stations.

The pair will carry out joint tests on hydrogen fuel cell air supply systems and core techniques and processes related to hydrogen circulation pumps. Furui has pledged to prioritize Snowman's products over similar wares, per the statement.

Fuel cell engine air supply systems and hydrogen circulation pumps are key auxiliary systems of hydrogen fuel cell cars. Leveraging Furui's strengths in the hydrogen refueling station market, the tie-up enables Snowman to ramp up industrial operations in hydrogen fuel-cell engine air supply systems and FCV technology research and development, vehicle manufacturing and supporting hydrogen facility development, it noted.

As the only supplier of integrated solutions covering the entire hydrogen equipment industry chain in China, Furui has supplied vehicle hydrogen supply systems for many carmakers and models such as Dongfeng headquartered in Hubei province and Guangdong province-based Futian, the statement noted.
