(Yicai Global) Sept. 7 -- GIGadgets, a newly set-up short video production firm officially known as Shenzhen Lead Media Technology Co., has secured tens of millions of yuan in its A-round financing.

Shenzhen Guozhong Venture Capital Management Co. led the funding round, Jiemian News reported. GIGadgets previously secured angel funding from Legend Capital and Hofan Venture.

The company produces video clips based on US consumer technology and releases about two per day. It currently has 8.3 million Facebook followers and averages 100 to 200 million monthly V30 video views with each video receiving around 2 million V30 views.

V30 views are those which a video receives within 30 days after being uploaded.
