(Yicai Global) July 26 -- China's mainland stock markets closed mixed as Shanghai-headquartered firms pushed the main indexes of Shanghai and Shenzhen up after a slow morning while Shenzhen-listed tech firms dipped.

The Shanghai Composite Index closed at 2,944.54, up 0.2 percent. The Shenzhen Component Index climbed 0.04 percent to 9,349. The ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises listed in Shenzhen, slid 0.3 percent to 1,561.86.
