(Yicai Global) Aug. 15 -- China's three major stock indexes closed higher, reversing earlier slumps. The ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises listed in Shenzhen, rose the most. 

The ChiNext climbed 1.2 percent to close at 1,555.77, whereas the Shenzhen Component Index gained 0.5 percent to end at 9,009.68. The Shanghai Composite Index edged up 0.3 percent to 2,815.80.
