(Yicai Global) April 23 -- Alibaba Group Holding’s meal delivery platform Ele.me will begin selling books from 30 of Shanghai Xinhua Media’s bookstores in Shanghai, allowing customers to buy books online and have them delivered in as little as 30 minutes, Ele.me said today.

The platform already has bookstores in over 100 Chinese cities, including Beijing, Jinan and Shenyang, selling their books online.
