(Yicai) Sept. 12 -- Shanghai will hold 100 night-time activities during the upcoming Shining Shanghai 2024 International Light Art Open Call.

The festival will be held between Sept. 19 and Oct. 18, the eastern Chinese city's administration announced at a press conference today. Dual-language services will be available for English-speaking tourists.

The main venue of the festival will be the Shanghai Exhibition Center, which will host eight events in the first nine days, including an architectural projection show, a light and shadow art installation exhibition, and a global landscape lighting industry exhibition.

Visitors can book tickets for the activities at the Shanghai Exhibition Center for free on multiple authorized online platforms.

Among the other events that will be held in the city for the festival, there are a Chrono-Light Memories large-scale naked-eye three-dimensional architectural projection show at the Minsheng Wharf's Grain Silo Art Center in Pudong New Area, a lantern fair at the Yuyuan Garden Scenic Area in Huangpu district, and an Ancient Shu Fantasy architectural projection show at the Zhang Garden in Jing’an district.
