(Yicai Global) Sept. 13 -- Shanghai has rewarded 58 Shanghai-based expats, including executives from companies such as global consultancy Roland Berger, France's L'Oreal, and software firm Dassault Systemes, with the Magnolia Silver Award due to their contributions in business, culture, and charity.

Shanghai gave the prize to experts, including scientists, artists, and educators, from 18 countries and regions, the municipal government said in a statement on its website. More than 1,200 people have won the award over the past 30 years.
