(Yicai Global) Feb. 8 -- Big Data-based IT operating service supplier Shanghai EOI Tech Co. completed a multimillion-dollar pre-A round of financing. It will use new funds for its technological research and development of products and algorithms and introducing artificial intelligence for enterprise IT operations, news site Lieyunwang reported, citing a company statement.

Vision Plus Capital, also known as Yuan Jing Capital, led this round of financing followed by Atom Ventures, also an angel round investor. With several self-developed algorithms, Big Data-based intelligent operating product Sherlock AIOps, or AI for IT operations, developed by EOI is able to spot and locate the cause of problems in enterprise intelligence operations and maintenance quickly, and then debug in a few seconds to avoid significant losses.

As the industry is facing greater demand for IT operations, professional firms are innovating more efficient and intelligent operating models. There is also a reported general trend to shake off dependence on skilled operating staff by introducing artificial intelligence and non-supervisory machine learning to leave behind manual plus passive response.

The Sherlock AIOps can predict enterprises' business data with its new-type deep neural network algorithms through long-term data accumulation and machine learning to help enterprises plan their IT resources in advance to avoid various black-swan accidents.
