(Yicai Global) June 21 -- China's stock markets closed higher for lunch, with the Shanghai Composite reaching 3,000 points, while the ChiNext Price Index rose over 2 percent due to the news that restrictions for ChiNext on backdoor listings will be removed.
The Shanghai Composite Index closed 0.61 percent higher at 3,005.36, while the Shenzhen Component Index was 1.09 percent higher at 9,234.19 and the ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises in Shenzhen, soared 2.08 percent to 1,529.21 at lunch.
