(Yicai Global) June 14 -- SenseTime has been chosen to act as chair for the new China Augmented Reality Core Technology Industry Alliance, which includes nearly 200 member units.

The artificial intelligence unicorn, which estabilished in Hangzhou today, will be leaded by the group that includes Zhejiang University, Oppo, Xiaomi, Peking University, Tsinghua University and China Mobile Research Institute as board director units.

The alliance aims to form a core technology innovation ecosystem for China's AR sector by gathering various resources.
