(Yicai Global) Oct. 12 -- Both the scale and utilization rates of China's internet finance users were higher in the first half than at the close of last year, and there is still potential for further future growth, shows a report recently published by cbndata.com.

The number of China's internet financial services consumers reached 126 million, with a user utilization rate of 16.8 percent, whereas internet financial users were 98.9 million at the end of last year, with a user utilization rate of 13.5 percent.

In terms users' ages, those born after 1980 and 1990 form the core groups in internet financial investment, and the stability, yield and convenience of products and platforms are the three factors of greatest concern in their investment. Core groups born after 1980 and 1990 also show two consumption trends -- strict budgeting consumption and family leisure consumption. In the future, the trends of new financial integration, popularization of financial services and their layer of technologification will represent competitive factors for Internet financial platforms, the report also indicates.
