(Yicai Global) Nov. 17 -- Codemao, an online programming platform designed for children, has secured USD18.0 million (CNY120 million) in B-round financing led by Hillhouse Capital, and supported by Crystal Stream and Qinghan Fund, online media outlet 36kr reported.

The platform, operated by operated by Shenzhen Dianmao Technology Co., offers children programming education, made up of on-line learning, summer and winter camps, and competitions.

The course consists of more than 200 mini games and includes entry-level graphic programming, combined with physics and astronomy, as well as other subjects.

Shengtong Stocks [SHE:002599] provided financing worth CNY15 million to the firm in May this year, through one of its fully-owned subsidy. Codemao received CNY20 million in A-round financing last year.
