(Yicai Global) June 12 -- Ping An Insurance is in the process of acquiring online education company iTutorGroup for approximately USD500 millions, according to multiple sources.

After the takeover, iTutorGroup will operate independently as a subsidiary of Ping An, tech news outlet 36Kr reported an insider as saying.
