(Yicai) Nov. 6 -- More than 120 exhibitors are showcasing over 170 cutting-edge tech products, including electric flying taxis, at launch events at the seventh China International Import Expo, which opened in Shanghai yesterday.
The M1 eVTOL, an electric vertical-takeoff-and-landing aircraft developed by Zhuhai-based Vertaxi, is the largest exhibit at the CIIE.
The E20 eVTOL tilt-rotor “air taxi,” independently developed by Times Aerospace, makes its debut at the CIIE. With a 12-meter wingspan, it can carry up to five passengers. It offers high speed, high payload efficiency, and low cost, marking it out as a core product for developing the low-altitude economy.
The Tricera, a concept electric autocycle by Japan’s Yamaha Motor, is designed to integrate mind, body, and machine and features a three-wheel design and a three-wheel steering system.
The Apollo ESG, an endoscopic sleeve gastroplasty system from Boston Scientific, is the medical technology firm’s CIIE debut product. It is reportedly the first and only such product to have been approved by the US Food and Drug Administration.
GE Healthcare’s PET/CT MAX Apollo, an imaging system powered by AI and deep learning technology across the entire imaging chain.
