(Yicai Global) June 26 -- The People's Bank of China issued CNY30 billion (USD4.4 billion) worth of central bank bills in Hong Kong today.

They include CNY20 billion in one-month bonds at 2.8 percent and CNY10 billion in six-month bills at 2.82 percent, the PBOC said online today.

The PBOC has never before issued one- and six-month bills in Hong Kong, it added, saying bids from overseas investors reached over CNY85 billion.
