(Yicai Global) Feb. 19 -- More than 37 percent of Shanghai's 245,000 brick-and-mortar stores have resumed operations by yesterday after the Spring Festival holiday was prolonged due to the Covid-19 outbreak, the municipal government said at a press conference today.

Staff must complete health registrations online and remind clients to wear face masks, as well as don such protective apparel themselves, the administration added.
