(Yicai Global) Sept. 20 -- Over 30 banks, such as HSBC, Shanghai Pudong Development Bank and Bank of Beijing, have promised to provide cross-border financial services during the first China International Import Expo.

The 36 lenders introduced their international payment and credit solutions at an industry conference held by non-profit organization Shanghai Finance Association's cross-border committee yesterday.

These banks will take advantage of the favorable policies in free trade zones and provide non-resident exhibitors with tailored services including account opening, credit, transactions, financing and inter-bank support. The lenders match these exhibitors with domestic buyers so that both parties can avoid risks in currency exchange rate fluctuations. 

The CIIE will be held in the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai from Nov. 5 to 11.
