(Yicai Global) Aug. 26 -- More than 230 experts from almost 30 countries and regions are expected to take part in this year's Pujiang Innovation Forum, which will explore the green transformation process, starting tomorrow.
With ‘Low Carbon: A New Mission for Global Innovation’ as the theme of the four-day event in Shanghai, the forum will host talks on topics such as the development of a low-emissions economy through scientific and technological innovation and cooperation, Yicai Global learned.
The high-level international forum jointly created in 2008 by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Shanghai city government, has drawn together more than 1,000 politicians, academics, and businesspeople to exchange ideas on science and technology over the past 14 years.
Participants can join the 15th annual Pujiang Innovation Forum in-person or by video link. This year’s participants are mainly drawn from international organizations, top universities, scientific research bodies, and think tanks, or are industry leaders.
In addition to the opening ceremony and plenary session, the forum will also host sub-forums such as the Global Technology Transfer Conference, as well as the Young Elite Scientist Summit, and the Women Scientists Summit.
This year’s country of honor is the Netherlands, which will have a special symposium. There will be more than 10 other special symposiums as well as conferences celebrating various achievements.
