(Yicai Global) Sept. 15 -- Beijing Haokeduo Information Technology Co., China's first education technology firm to specialize in stimulating children's interest in learning, has secured CNY10 million (USD1.54 million) in funding from angel investors, Shandong-based newspaper Qilu Evening News reported.
The funds will be used to help parents find interest-based learning produces and services, which are scarce in the market at the moment, the report added.
Haokeduo focuses on education services for children aged up to 18. Devoted to "kindling interest in learning among children," it helps customers find high-quality education organizations and courses, providing parents with a one-stop service platform. The firm also offers integrated technology solutions and data for education and training businesses to enhance their management and service quality, with the aim to adapt the education ecosystem to changes in the skills required by an evolving society.
The company has established partnerships with more than 1,000 quality education and training organizations in Beijing. Children benefit from its services in terms of improving the effectiveness of their learning activities based on a clear understanding of their preferences. Parents are also able to find nearby education firms.
The volume of China's education and training market has exceeded CNY1.8 trillion (USD275 billion) and has enormous growth potential, data from China Industry Research suggests.
