(Yicai Global) Dec. 14 -- Nio is linking up with a unit of China’s State Grid to build 100 electric vehicle charging and battery swapping stations nationwide by the end of next year, the Chinese electric car startup said today.

State Grid Electric Vehicle Service, which provides Internet-of-Vehicle systems and charging facilities, and Shanghai-based Nio will strive to provide at least 100 million kilowatts of clean energy for new energy vehicles in 2021, according to an agreement signed by the pair in Beijing today.
