(Yicai) Jan. 22 -- East Buy Holding, an e-commerce unit of Chinese tutoring giant New Oriental Education and Technology Group, will cooperate with ByteDance's TikTok Shop on overseas expansion, The Paper reported today, citing a person familiar with the matter.

East Buy's website shows open positions such as TikTok store operator for foreign markets, a content operation manager on TikTok, and a business manager focusing on the short-video platform.

The business manager should develop and manage supplier resources, optimize procurement, analyze suppliers and market trends, establish stable supply chains, and create new brands and categories of products, per the job description.

TikTok declined to comment on the matter.
